What's So Great About John Carpenter?

This article just scratches the surface as to why John Carpenter is so great but it’s still a good reminder of what I loved about 80s movies. Carpenter, Scott, Cameron, and Spielberg gave us a slice of the 80s we could never go back to now. For that I’m happy they gave us these films but sad they’re a thing of the past.
