Robert Culp Passes Away at the Age of 79
Sad news today. I’ve been a fan of Robert Culp ever since The Greatest American Hero. I knew of his work on I Spy but that was a little bit before my time. What’s strange is I’ve been watching old Columbo shows on Netflix and was impressed by Robert Culp’s appearances. I was somewhat surprised to see him show up as different characters in different shows. Apparently, he guest starred four different times on Columbo. But after I watched him and thought about it, it totally made sense. How could you not have Mr. Culp return to the show? Columbo was a perfect foil to his characters, time and time again. No one comes close to a classic antagonist to Columbo other than Mr. Patrick McGoohan. (Who we lost last year.)
R.I.P. Robert. I’ll miss you.
